Getting started with a cooperative contract is simple!
Whether you are a city, county, school district, state agency or other public entity, Bespoke-supported cooperative contracts make it easy to save time and money while staying fully compliant with your procurement rules.

Most local governments, school districts, state agencies, and other public entities are eligible to participate. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help you confirm your organization’s eligibility and internal procedures.
Some agencies may require an internal resolution, purchasing memo or other action to document cooperative use. Your contracts will likely reference the original contract in the recitals, and you may need to download solicitation documentation from Bespoke’s website. Check your agency's procurement rules to ensure compliance.
Execute the Master Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (MICPA) or Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA). This legal agreement gives your agency permission to “piggyback” on the cooperative’s competitively awarded contracts.
Contact the awarded supplier directly to begin the purchasing process. Be sure to reference the Bespoke community contract ID so your purchase is properly tied to the cooperative contract.
The suppliers will do all reporting and pay fees – public sector agencies never pay a fee to use a Bespoke contract. Once everything is in place, you can immediately start purchasing through the contract—saving time, reducing administrative burden,and getting the best value for your community.
